good marine wet pet for 50-75 gal

I think large wrasse are kinda, well, ugly. But well its your tank :).

What about the ones that are like bright green and purple etc? the fish only wrasses. It was just an idea anyway, I suppose I could go with a tang of some kind

that stock should be fine you're just gonna have to get that wrasse big, can't grow one out. 3" dwarf lion + 3-4" wrasse you never know if the little bugger may still try to eat it!

I guess that one is cool, just some other ones I don't really like.

I suppose another option would be to add the lionfish to the tank last, and make sure I get a smaller lion when the stock are a bit larger

Lion+puffer=not a good idea. The puffer can pick at its fins and the lion can try to eat the puffer. I wanted to do the same thing but was also advised against it.

In' that case the Lion will be out then, because the puffer is a lot more important to me

Good choice :) I love all of my puffers! After you have him for like a week and you find out what his favorite food is try hand feeding him, it's really fun :). Just don't let it bite you, I don't have to worry about my Valentini, but dogfaces have some bigger mouths lol.

my stepdad said he might be thinking of getting rid of his marine fish because he stresses over them too much. He said if he does then I can have the tank. the only problem is its around 65 gallons (bow front) its wider than a 55 but less wide than a 75. of course the tank is slightly smaller but that just means I could stock more lightly,

bare in mind though this tank comes with stand, heater, lights, fully matured, protein skimmer etc. only reason hes thinking of getting rid of it is that the cannister filter keeps breaking. so all I would have to buy is the stock and a new filter (i'm thinking a 400gph 80-100gal HOB filter)

that sound good?
