Minnows, darters, sunfish, crappies, perch, madtoms, stonecat, pickerel, rock bass, killifish, topminnows, stickleback, mudminnow, sculpin, and mooneyes can work out in 100gal. Smaller species can work out in 20 and 40gals.

Crappie can kept in 100gal tank because they are not so actively as largemouth bass. 20 inch long crappie is very rare but 16 inch long ones are common depends in what lakes they live. Still crappies can work out in 100gals if they are single fish or a pair in tank only......gar man;2171689; said:crappie get to be 20+" dude..ive caught 116 inchers in a farm pond ...![]()

lol good one. but i think he meant 16inch long ones.
I think gar man can be salvaged, he just needs to get away from trying to be more than he is and accept that it's not bad to not know what is going on. I've been doing this for 45 years and I learn something new all the time. When that stops I might stop keeping fish. Garman needs to take this quote to heart, "It's best to be quiet and thought a fool than to talk and remove all doubt" or something like that. None of us knows everything and the pursuit of knowledge isn't made easier by making claims that are not true in an attempt impress anyone.
