is the coloring at the bottom of the caudal fin on the female normal?

Nope. Not really sure what it is or what causes it. I've seen several pikes get that black blotchy coloring in on them before. It never seems to harm the fish, and most of the time it just goes away. Just annoying to look at is all.

It's been there since I go it at about 2", so I don't think it will go away, but it may as it gets its mature coloration.
