I wouldn't keep what you've got left in a 55, You could get away with the breeding pair of Firemouth, the Convict, and a pleco in it.

But it's going to weaken your floor again anyway so it's out of the question.

great, so now you just have to get rid of everything else except your FM's. When you say your keeping the convict and frog, i hope you dont seriously still mean that.

as for the con i believe it was his mom's and since what has happened i dont believe he will be getting rid of it. as for the frog that can go or its going to end up a snack when the other fish get bigger.

Ive seen 8'' clawed frog that are 3'' wide..

maybe you haven't seen a clawed frog big enough to eat a firemouth because they have always died before they reached adulthood. don't post unless you are sure about what you are talking about. clawed frogs get massive.

i havae my 2 FM and my con left along with my bichir and my frog still tats all thats in the 29 o and 2 loaches.. no i am keeping the pink con cause she was my first cichlid ever..

I think a 55 would be fine for all your cureent occupants in your 29, unless the frog gets full size....

What happened to the Pleco? I just got another 75 JUST for a breeding pair of cons and a texas, I hope that "pair" of FM's dont kill everything in there, it wouldn't be too hard for them to catch the others seeing as they are still in a 29. Good for you though seriously that you got rid of those fish you were going to get rid of 2 months ago, but it sucks that they died so quickly.
