Did you try the silversides?

Yep, he didn't want anything to do with them. I was trying to simulate it being alive with the skewer, but I'm not sure it wasn't just that the skewer made him a little uneasy. The other fish didn't show interest either, so I left one in the tank overnight and it was gone in the morning, but I couldn't say for sure which fish ate it.

I have to assume that the silversides will work with a little patience, I hope so anyway.

Try to order the prong I linked you to. It's clear plastic and is supposed to be invisible to fish. My gar voraciously attacked the first silverside I wiggled on it, and I assume he wasn't too hungry because he had already been fed that day.
