I think it is awesome. I would not use FX5s in the pond though... I would use something desigened for a pond :) Just my opinion.

would look good but definately go for a wet dry, id just fill a large waste bin full of scrubbies and cut up straws...

can your floor hold 15 tons of water?

yes it can well i'm sure it will be able to these houses are very sturdy and have a solid ground floor with no floor boards or basement......

yeah after the things i've been reading i think it would be best to make my own filter i'm just pricing everything up now but... i don't want it made of glass so i was thinking of buying 7 240ltr plastic tubs that inter look stacked on top of each other sealed water tight drilled bottoms and loaded with media with 2x 15000lph pond pumps . the only thing is would this do as i don't no to mush about fillter building. so if anyone can add to this please do...

I've done the indoor pond thing before, dismantled it and gave it away. Draw back was the humidity, as stated prior there's a huge evaporation issue, in my case it raised the humity causing musty conditions in my house. I've spoken with a few others whose problems were far worse - fungus growth on the walls and even wood rot. The upside was the ability to grow large fish that are difficult to keep in glass aquariums due to their size. Mine housed Dovii, Snooks, Trinadads, and various Slider Turtles.
