Talk to Rich (Infinite Aquatics)...he has some sp. 'venezuela' right now. A little pricey, but worth it. Tell him that Peanut_Power sent you! Haha!

I have a sneaky suspicion that Rich's VZ's are not VZ's. I think they are going to end up much nicer than your average VZ... just a hunch.
If you're looking for cheap VZ start scouring the Petco stores. They have them fairly regualrly for $10-$15.

I keep changing my mind about ordering them or not. Having a little battle with myself about them. There is that possibility that they are something special...
, yet at the same time there is the possibilit they are still just venz.

I suspect that they are a variant of Cr. lugubris.
Unfortunately price doesn't corelate with looks, just how difficult the fish was to catch and transfer to the U.S. Even if they are not Vens they may be no more colorful yet twice the price. It's a risk buying unknown fish.
