good pleco tankmates?

Don't get another pleco, two will clash, as mentioned above, check your water parameters and get mid level to top level fish to suit your water & setup

I wouldn't get any more bottom feeders exept maybe a couple cory cats. I like the look of the orange shoulder severum, with some silver dollars, I'm going to call my LFS tomorrow and order 2 orange shoulder severum and 6-8 assorted silver dollars. That will fill the tank nicely but not overstock so it will be good. I'll post some pics on this thread in a week or so.

really not a big issue, stick with SA/CA , Oscar be fine or of the SA family, I run large gibby and common pleco,s in my jag tank to clean things up. they nip em, but pleco not care, and they pretty much leave them alone after a bit as they are not another cichled, no gills to flair, no lip to lock. and they are a armored fish.

I also run large plecos in the Oscar tank, they could care less.

I also have a 14" 4 year old sun cat and a 3 year old BKG fish in the 180 with the Oscars, again the Oscars could care less, now I put another cichlid in there, that's another matter. they will kill it.

That's basically what I've heard, another thread said to get everyone but the oscar in and settled down for a week or two before adding the oscar, but it all depends if I use my big oscar or if I get a smaller one, and on how big the fish I get are.
