Good price for a Kamalau?

I have been looking at this one for about 2-3 weeks now. It belongs to the owner of the store and he brought it in to sell it, he has had it since it was small and was imported from overseas. Every time I go in its slowly adjusting and looking better. This time when I went in it was pretty aggressive when I put my finger on the glass which was awesome. it looks pretty good, has a long dorsal, double flowerline, big thick lower jaw and some nice pearling. I figure $60 isn't a bad price for it at 7-8".
I hope its a male but if its not its ok.
