What about mermaids? How big a tank do you need for them? JK. I couldn't resist. It would good to see you prove everyone wrong... maybe.

Ok guys, lets cut this furcifer158 some break. We all know that its not going to happen. He was probably just a hobbyist that was fed some lines from a local "bullsheeter" and decided to share. If we all jump on newbies like that, how will this hobby ever allow new comers?

Many of your talk like you've imported for many years when infact you haven't. I've imported for some years now and by all means no expert, and many on here have imported for much longer.

I've seen this happen over and over, some peole just get too excited when they hear something like that. I remember local fish stores use to feed me lines on how they can get this and that, and I was dying to share it with people, then just to have my bubble busted. We've all been there one point or another.

The conclusion: 1. leos for 90 or 250, is not happening. 2. cut this newbie some slack.

and the prices he quoted, those are and were the prices of these rays before the ban. So giving him the benifit of the doubt,

Furcifer spoke to an old school, defunct importer, that has knowledge of the old prices, thinking that he can still get the same, and tried to impress this kid. Confused about where they're from, and with only incomplete knowledge, tries to make a complete story about how to cover up so customs doesn't recognize it on the invoice, etc...etc...

funny nonetheless

Can the mods please clean this thread up? ;)

I just wanna see where this goes:popcorn:

think this one has gone far enough now.
agreed, but wouldnt the best thing would have been for the guy to say "ive been offered Leo's for $90 and Zebra pleco's for $35 each, what do you guy's think??" insted of the usual thing of guess what "im getting a dolphin next week to live in my pool so my kids can play with it when they come home from school, and it was only $50 shipped" :screwy:
