I would get a Rena fillstar xp2. Canister filters hold much more biomedia and are more reliable/powerful. I use it on my 55 with a gt and polys and i love it.

i was kiddin lmao, but those filters should be fine, i have just 1 30-60 gallon filter in mine and it works just fine,between the two of them you should have a spotless tank

That is an excellent filter, although the whispers are not as good but with 2 of them on that 55 gallon they should do fine.

You realize keeping a 6 foot oscar in a 55 gallon is a nono
(in your sig you have the ' foot mark instead of the " inch mark)
