I have a 150 and was wondering what good sand sifters would be. My sandbed is only around 1" deep and I am getting a little bit of brown algae on it. What would be good sandsifters and how many would I need?
Thanks

I tried the sandsifting Cuc's - climbed into the powerhead and died, while he was alive never once sifted sand. I use Conch's and a yellow watchmen goby. However, the bloom isn't algae but bacterial diatoms from excessive silicates in the sand Conchs and Goby's won't eat it .

I put a diamond watchman goby in my 110g corner tank as my sand was turning a little brown. He cleaned it up in a day of putting him in.
