nope dats will do fine in full fresh with your stock
i would add a dat and some eartheaters, would you rather have showy eartheaters, or ones that have more drab colors and more personality
showy - you could try orange heads or alfitrons
personality - you could try satanoperca jurupari or steindachneri/red humps

eartheaters are a thought, just everywhere i look for info on dats its says they are brackish fish so i was kinda curious as to why so many people have them with their aros and such.

This is a common mis-conception with these fish. And it almost prevented me from getting one. From what I have read some are, some not but all can do in fresh. I'll have to take another look into it but... Nevermind I'll just post this maybe you can read threw it. but basically they can be kept in either/or. http://www.monsterfishkeepers.com/forums/archive/index.php/t-96214.html

Heard also some types live a longer life if they are kept in brackish over fresh or vice versa. I think it's brackish for AT's and NGT's and fresh for IT's and NTT's but don't hold it to me or any of the other info. It's just what I have gathered over the past 8 months that I have had one.

Sorry for the de-rail. I just love these fish and would like to pass them on to other hobbiest. They are my favorite.

tinfoils get way too big to have enough to create a good school in a 120.
I'd say just go with a ton of barbs, like tiger barbs and red rosy barbs. danios would be pretty cool, but rainbows are DEFINITELY nicer looking

a big group of exodons? lol giant danios would be really nice

Is it just me or no one notice he says he already have a silver arowana in there already? It'll definitely out-grown the 120.

I noticed that too....I dont thinkk you should worry to much getting smaller schooling fish since you should upgrade cuz of the aro size
