I like corries more than yo yo loaches. I'd get them. I didn't think that the emeralds get "that" big. May be wrong of course.

that just depends on how you look at it. No they dont get RTC big but they do get big for a cory cat. roughly 4"

Cories they come in cool colors and are gr8t bottom feeders

go with some corys.. i love these guys they do the job :D

If you can find them, I absolutely love my pygmaus cories... nanus are also very cool lil' cories. My pygmy's like to school with my white clouds on occasion and still do a great job cleaning up extra food. ghost shrimp are also great, but are sensitive to copper based meds if you ever have to treat the tank. The shrimp will also eat fry if thats an issue. a small school of 5-7 pygmaus or nanus should be fine in a 25 hex, but they can be hard to find.

Thanks. I'll keep a lookout for those and see if any lfs can order them. I'm hoping they can. I'm not worried about babies or anything either so might try some shrimp.

since you are willing to move them in a 150G later on, i would suggest clown loaches.
small clown loaches, since they grow quite slow.

25g hex is not alot of floor space for bottom dwellers. The otos or dwarf cories are good suggestions.Have you considered a snail?pomacea diffusa are often sold at petsmart as gold or blue mystery snails.
