Good Start?

Okay I'm throwing out the lizards an fish paludarium idea for my 125 gallon. Decided to stick with fish and maybe a turtle.

Tank has sand for substrate and two Eheim 2217's for filtration.

Stock will start with:
1x Fire Eel 10"
1x Silver Arowana 5"
1x GATF 4"

Want to eventually add a turtle and/or ray.

Does everything about this sound okay?
(Tank is a temporary setup for these fish)

Any ideas on what turtle would be best?

125 gallon? not a long term(2+ year) solution for the silver Aro for sure. Never had GATF so not sure how fast they grow.

If its temporary I would be thinking along the line of a 250+ gallon tank for a stingray+arowana and a fire eel

I want an Aro soo bad I can't tell you, and I would love a ray! Buttttt I have a 125 and it's just not right, dont do it either.

I don't think anyone understood the point of temporary tank?

Seen too many people say that with the best intentions, but no one knows the future and I don't think anyone should stock a tank with the "plan" to upgrade later. Stock your tank around what you have now.
