Toyota is known for making junky plastic crap. Every new car can expect to get 200k+ with the technology.

Volvo has been making cars that get 1mil+ since the 40s.

Sorry for my opinion, guess you control this thread and your Volvo thing. Why dont everyone listen to you and have a lock on this thread since other people can not offer input. As a matter of fact, why dont you tell everyone to shut up.

i agree good first time cars for people on a normal budget are honda and toyota's run forever...if your parents want to spring for something nicer and your to big for there car maybe you would feel more comfy in a SUV.. i am also not a volvo fan i drive a VW and it has its issues... i think volvo's are very un attractive and over priced but hey thats just my opinion which is what your asking for

all in all you should really just go test drive some stuff and see what you like and what your looking for...something you can fit comfortably in you may be suprised @ what you end up liking.. the only person who has to drive it daily is you so you should get something you wont mind spending money on b.c every car needs something one time or another. first cars are exciting have FUN@! be careful its a big decision and there are lots of people who will try and get over on u and rip you off.

Awww, did you miss your naptime in school again?

Why don't you disagree with what I am saying, and say why volvo's are junk, instead of crying about how someone made fun of your vewy vewy spechial matchbox car? I never insulted you, just the jap-crap cars. Why make it personal?

Volvo's are overpriced, but hold their value....so, in essence, you actually pay more for a jap car (depending on the model, of course).

I may have misunderstood your statement, but Volvo's and VW's are not the same.....not even the same country.

i think he is saying that he isnt a fan of volvos, but he drives a VW that has had its problems. i herd that VW's are common to break down a lot
