Good strong water clarifier?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Wow $120. I would rather get something else with that.

Only advice I can give you

- Make sure your tank is fully cycled
- Frequently vac your gravel (if you have)
- Upgrade your filtration system

ask your friend if you can get some of his cycled media to add to your filter. This tank is not cycled completely and is having bacterial blooms. Flocculents won't really help and you are wasting yoru money. Do you have a good liquid test kit?

could be algea bloom, try that. one of my tanks had an aglea bloom and no clarifier in the world would do anything til i got algea control stuff

For sure it's cycling, post a pic of the tank and the fish and I bet the fish will be pale and stressed. As someone mentioned get some established gravel or anything from your friend to add to your tank.
