i have 5 juvy odoe w/ 2 ace microlepis and 1 ace falcirostris, no probs so far. i hear that odoe can disembowl, but havig kept 12 individuals have never seen it myself. and odoe wont get 2 ft in a tank, but i can attest to a rapid growth rate that usually stops around 9 inches.

Nice stock list u got there. You must have a very large tank. How many aces do you think I can humanely get into my 72? Disemboweled....disemboweled, that word gives me the willys but I like how it sounds, call me strange. O! Are odoe also softwater?

the falcirostris will eventually need at least a 5 foot tank because they grow a lot faster and longer than most other species. but u could probably keep 4 to 6 cudas in a 72 gal with no problems. but watch those cirostris they r flighty and will bash the tank causin injury. odoe are naturally alkaline, but ive kept them in all kinds of water soft to hard, ph doesnt matter to these boys really a easy fish to keep. these fish are in a 55 soon to move to a 125.
OP's Cuda looks different than yours, it's more transparent, has a different snout and tail shape. The seemingly black line on OPs fish may disappear with age as it's a small juvi. As for the 2 pics of yours above I don't know which species they are but I agree 100% - a few of them aren't Falcir or Falca.
The lfs told me they go by silver baracuda if that rings any bells. I google and got nothing helpful.
