Good tankmates for silver ARO

anyways, silver dollars are great because they are big enough not to get eaten, will not compete for food from the aro depending on what you are feeding, and they are fricken slick!

I have also kept my aro with oscars = huge mess and a LOT of water changes.

if you have the funds get a stingray, any number of sucker fish, or amazon river cats, when they get to big, eat them.

Going by your logic, i might as well keep my kid in a cage where he cant move. From you logic, its not your kid, so why should other people, even if i were to do it openly. Why would people care if i were to do that to MY kid. Its MY kid, not yours. If you know your fish is gunna out grow your tank, and you're not planning to upgrade, no need to add MORE fish that dont fit into it. If you KNOW your fish will outgrow your tank and you're planning to add more that dont fit in their either, then you are truly worthless.

1/2 dozen piraiba catfish
7 Giant mekong cats

enough messing around, I seriously am a big fan of keeping Aros with Silver dollars, But if we must say it..... IF WE MUST!!! Then i will, many years down the line, when and if that aro reaches lengths of 3 or 4 feet, it could possibly eat one or two of the silver dollars... omg :eek:
