my bad man loaches, not plec's. i wish i were trading plec's not the loaches. the guy said he doesnt even feed them live either so i assume no hith.

Are you trading clown plecos or clown loaches? Are the pikes healthy, no HITH? Can you properly house the pikes?

Hard to say good or bad without knowing more.

By red pike it could also be a crenicichla xingu II one of my favs. They are hot but as said make sure they are well cared for and do not have HITH. Knowing what kind of Satanoperca you keep (very prone to HITH) I have no doubt you would be caring for the pikes well bro, they are lucky to be with you if you go through with it. I would take a good pike over a clown loach(s) and/or clown pleco(s) any day.
