You have to look at what the other guy's tank looks like. There are some old junky tanks out there. You don't want to deal with something that have scratches, dings, or leak repairs. Make sure the other tanks is clean and not been around too much. I'm assuming your 150 in storage must be fairly decent condition.

Minus a small chip its mint and only 5 years old. I live in an upstairs apt so it doesn't give me a lot of space and I have a baby coming

Snag it then, you'll be giving your grammodes some extra space and like you said, you're limited on tank size so might as well get something that you can use.
So the wife is having a change of heart and wants to know if a 150 would be ok on a 2nd floor in our apt complex.
