Anyone know of a good Flowerhorn transhipper? I live only 2.5 hours from Atlanta, but I have been trying for a few weeks to get a quote from that transhipper with no luck. I'm thinking that I will need to use another one that is farther away. I'm thinking about getting some fish from flowerhornsfrombeyond and I'm hoping that she may be a transhipper as well, but not certain.

Also, does anyone have a Flowerhorn breeder/supplier that they would like to recommend?

Thanks again,
Monty

Julie does handle transhipping also, and does a great job too I may add. She shipped me a fish and it was packed in a styrofoam "cocoon" and 5-6 bags. I would highly recomend her.

Ok I might do that. I talked with her and she seemed pretty helpful. The only thing that worried me was that she is on the other side of the country. I'm in Alabama here.

I usually deal with Dan Leung in CA, and Teal in MD.

Dan Leung ships real good from my experiences and I just love how his shipment dates are usually often and set(Which means lots of people pick up over other transhippers). Lots of transhippers delay their shipment weeks due to not enough fish sale.

I usually deal with Teal in MD, since I am in MD and can just pick up my fish from him on the day they land US. Very cool guy, but I can't tell you how well he ships, because I always pick up.

I heard from many people Julie is good as well.

Hope this helps,
JP

Ok thanks. I guess I should she how much she charges.

Julie shipped my fish to Michigan BTW. Arrives without a single drop of water leaking out, or any damage to the fish. She used a wine bottle shipper to seal the fish in a styro cocoon.

Thats good to know. I'm going to use her. The problem I'm having now is trying to pick the flowerhorns that I want to order.

I have had a few PMs that said they like the guy in Maryland as well. I will give him a call to see as well.

thanks.
