Good workout/lifting songs?

because when you're working out, Form is everything. Your mind should be 100% on your form and workout. not drifting off to music or otherthings. as soon as your mind drifts away your chance of hurting yourself goes drastically up.

Metallica, Rammstein, Guns N' Roses, Deep Purple, Rainbow, Led Zepplin, Peter Gabriel & Alice Cooper. Thats just a small fraction of what i like, but they would be the first bands/artists i would listen to.

i understand what ur sayin but i use my music to block out everything else so i can focus on my lifts.im a stickler for form and if u r focused like u should be the music shouldnt bother you.
 
Good to know, I usually just end up tuning out the music counting my reps focuses my strength.

Yeah, that.
If anything, music at least helps me block out other sounds that would be more of a hindrance. Definitely a good motivator as well.

Hahaha true, but I'm in and out no matter what, as sometimes it's hard just to squeeze in my schedule.

Valid point, I mean mirrors are in the gym solely for that purpose, which further emphasis your point.

This is how I view it actually. It focuses me. Then when doing the actual lifting, it isn't a big deal because I block it out.

Exactly how I see it, however obviously if others prefer no music, just go with whatever works best for you. I've tried both, obviously I settled for with.
 
In addition to some of what's been mentioned, KMFDM, Slayer, and Deftones off the top of my head
 
and as for music i listen to the hard rock sometimes but it generally gives me a headache, i either need sumtn with powerful words or a good beat so i generally go with rap "eminem, lil wayne, some1 with good meaningful lyrics" and dance or trance music.
