Getting kinda chilly outside, checked the pond temp...59*. Decided to get rid of the pleco instead of putting it in the tank. He was about 7"

i got it free but i see thel for $6.99 at 2". not hard to find. also known as yellow pleco or golden pleco

I would never have given him up... especially that you grew him up..he is a beauty..

Megan didnt want it in her tank and I didnt really want to have to feed that big boy in my tank. He ate well outside on the algae from the pond and my tank rarely gets algae. plus he would plow down my rockwork trying to find a hiding place. he went to a good home. i may get another in the spring
