Thanks for the kind words in honor of my official "virtual goodbye" party.
Some more interesting bits:
* He's about 10" (not including tail)
* Loves feeders but catches ick every time I put some in. Went through 30 tiger barbs in 3 days.
* Very expressive. He's a bit upset at me over the past few weeks. I've been very busy and have not been home a lot. He loves attention (playing "chase the finger") loves getting his hump stroked, and he takes great care when I feed him shrimp by hand to grab the food very gently. These days, it takes a lot of coaxing to get him to "play".
So sad to see him go. Luckily, the LFS dude is going to put this him in his home using the same tank he's in now. So at least I know he's gonna be comfortable.
EDIT: If you look closely at the last 2 pix, you'll notice a bout of HITH that cropped up a week after I got him. That took about 2 weeks to heal, luckily (just by adding salt).
