all diets are doomed to failure because long term they are all unsustainable (by concept) ....there are no such things as "secrets", "tricks", etc. because there is no substitute for healthy eating habits ( 4-5 nutritious meals/day - protein and vegetables each meal) and an active life style.
 
Exactly! That's the whole point. Eat a complete, nutrient-dense diet and there's not much else to worry about. As for frequency of eating, I believe it's easier to enter ketosis and let the digestive tract rest with fewer meals in a day, but to each their own.
 
That page advise the consumption of many caustic and inflammatory seed oils. Also, it lists wheat and dairy as somehow useful to the human body. And, for some reason, it suggests replacing butter (one of the best sources of healthy saturated fat) with olive oil (which is usually made of canola and soybean and other caustic oils). There is much to correct on that page. The leafy greens and fish are good advice, though!

sorry to say but you're wrong in every count......wheat consumption has benefits in heart health, better digestion (fiber),etc.....non fat dairy products are still a good source of calcium and butter is definitely not a source of healthy saturated fat (quite the opposite) ...try avocado, nuts and salmon instead...and real olive oil is made out of olives and that is indeed a good source of healthy saturated fat.
these are all pretty basic things but you don't have to take my word for it. you said you work in a hospital...go ask an RD.

Yes, the system is very corrupt. Grain companies working in the government designed the food pyramid to help sell their fodder. No natural, wild human culture ever relied heavily on grain year-round for food. While it might be preferable over starvation, grain is highly inflammatory and (in modern times) GMO, laden with pesticides and herbicides like Round-Up, and not a significant source of any vitamins or nutrients compared to fresh vegetables and meat, fat and fruit. Especially modern corn and wheat. I've lost 45 pounds and my arthritis is gone, my teeth are great now. I don't even get sick anymore. It's sort of like getting out of the Matrix. You've believed your whole life that you're supposed to eat what the government wants you to, and then one day you realize it's all about the dollar! The government does not care about your health. At all.
