Goonch Catfish?

I was at the lfs last week, and shooting the breeze with staff. I was asked to check out a tank of baby "goonch catfish" they have for sale. They looked harmless, but was told they were on a nature show as bada$$ fish, and to check it out before purchase.

Has anyone kept these monsters in aquarium?

no but they get big and mean. they ae on a show called river moster they have some realy sharp teeth i thinke if you go on youtube and typeing river monster Goonch Catfish it might come up .

Too big for just about anyone outside of Sea World to try and house. It might be considered irresponsible to purchase a fish like this if you dont intend to maintain a display in the 10,000g+ range.

I have a 5K gallon pool and a 12k gallon fish pond.

I ALREADY have one.It's the Pima that might reach 8 to 10 feet here in its philippines pond.It is a wild caught arapaima.
