dont let this guy sway anyones thoughts, he was real helpfull untill he got the cash,
also it was 4 fish a 1' dorado, a 2' goonch a 2' tiger shovelnose and a ornate bicher, and yes we had a 150 gallon rubbermaid tub, but we only wanted to fill it half way, i have it set up with a filter that runs on it so just in case we have a breakdown or something else went wrong and the fish had to stay in there over night then it would be no problem, we had air pumps and battery operated air pumps with extra batteries, for other things that might go wrong,
now josh only put in about 2- 1/2 inches of water when the guy said that was all he was going to let him have, josh was surprised and ended up getting upset, because we did not have the means to use fresh water because the guy offered a hose (the water was cold out of it, we also did not have another tub to put water in and add dechlor) so all josh wanted was a little more water to cover the fish's back, and i dont care what the guy is saying , he walked away and went inside saying he was done with this, now he had a 300 gallon tank, he could of ran the hose to the and filled his tank as it emptied out, but instead we had to put the fish in hardly no water and then add chlorinated cold as hell water and then add dechlor to our tub of fish that were already stressed from moving them out of there tank and into this tub with hardly any water from there own tank, we have been on hundreds of fish runs and we have never had to deal with this kind of thing,
anyone that buys fish from me gets treated with plenty of respect, i give them all the water they need and i have even given people a battery operated air pump because they showed up unprepared, i have printed out maps, i have fed people and there families and even drank with other people that showed up, that is what is expected from seasoned fish keepers, we are here to help each other in our hobby, but first and foremost you help the fish, not argue over 25- 50 gallons of water, josh would of helped him, but instead my son was left to fend for himself and put the fish at risk, he stopped at a few gas stations on the way home and filled bucket by bucket of warm water from the bathroom sinks and dechlored it and it took him 2-1/2 hours to get there and 4 hours to get home, he arrived at 1:30 in the morning and then i took over acclimating and taking care of everything because he had school in the morning, so if the guy would of givin josh the 50 gallons he needed, and filled his 300 back up, josh would not of had to spend all that time on the trip home, as he left that guys house with the backs of the fish out of the water, plain and simple, ive done this for years and never ran into this situaltion before, we actually had a real prick of a guy once that would not let us in his house and would not open his front door, he handed us the hose through a window and handed the fish out to us through a window and treated us with a real attitude, but even he made shure the fish had enough water, anyways the fish made it home, and as always anyone that wants to stop by and see the fish are more than welcome, just pm me first to set it up, we have over 10,000 gallons of setups full of fish,
thanks
