Not that this may be the case: But many hobbyists are leaving because of money/economy...Some because they have to work more to provide for family, and some because the hobby truely takes having money. Also I find it harder and harder to sell fishes....I have to make huge discounts to even sell them.

Don't leave bro. At least keep a small 100g with community fish. You will be loosing your mind dealing with school and work. You will need a tank at home to stare at to take the stress off.
