Looks like carpintis but with more red. Either way it is a "red" Texas. Here's mine for a little comparison. It's a short body though.

In your pic in between the pearls it looks like a nice red hue and on mine it's a darkish grey. It's a nice lookin fish none the less. He could look totally different after he settles in. Good luck with him I definitely would love to see his progress.

only time will tell i have bought texas that were lighter hoping it was something special but they seem to daker up as time goes on i Am sayin "green" keep us updtaed

i have bought a few of these my self i think the ligher color is due to stress after a will it will darker up
