Go for the O!!!!!!!!!!!! and a 75 gal tank.

Check your local classifieds for cheap tanks. Yesterday on Craigslist i found a 75 + glass top + double hood+ 380 ish gph canister filter + metal stand for $150. I began to beg my parents to put an addition on the house, so that i could have a place to keep an O.
----And they told me that i should stop wasting my money/mind on fish and start spending it on tuition for a real college, you know state rather than community.-- at this point i'd rather drop out of college and get a job in the aquarium business, somewhere....

id have to go with you what Allison said, i just bought a 75 gallon tank from craiglist for $100, it need some work tho and its older but still in great condition!

Pixy, My birthday was Sep 11, and that day I got $65. But as the days went buy the late letters came through and I wound up with an extra $95. So dont spend anything ASAP.

You'd be better off buying the 75G. 4ftx20"(Depth)x18" = 74.81G.

Aloso, you could whine to your dad and let you go a foot longer. So that could be 5ftx18" Depthx16". = 74.81G.
ON ebay, I look almost every 2nd day, and there have been some gret bargins on sale like 60G tanks for 40 bucks.

Just keep in mind that once you buy the tank, you need to buy filtration, lighting, heating, water, food, chemicals, etc.
