ah like mine..., i keep milawies in mine, but i always wanted something else too,How about some puffers(brakish waters)... they are so under rated..., figure8 puffers are cool, but they need coral to heep there beaks at bay, you can feed them clams(with the shell), raw shrimp, crafish and they wat them with the shell... and they need plants too so that they dont run into rachother too often...


mine is a bit older and made from1/2" thick glass, it doesnt have a brace... I guess they made them diffrently 20 years ago...
 
mine is more than 1/4 but i don't know il measure later when its light out side and i can go to home depot to get a bunch of stuff.
 
alright it is an all glass and it is half inch glass all the way around. whats the best brand of epoxy to use? prefrebly something they sell at the home depot.
 
i got lock tight brand epoxy it has a huge tensile strenth so it should work pretty good if i see some stretching im going to get some pc or aluminum and bolt or rivet it. il try and get some pics up later.
 
I have the same loktight brand stuff and the permitex brand stuff and i like it alot. its realy good stuff, just make sure that you sand the two pieces really good. the syringe says that its 5 min epoxy but let it set for atleast a day or two to fully cure, its still soft till then so give it some time before filling the tank.
 
yea i dont plan on filling it till i paint the stand so it will probably sit for a week or two till i fill it.
