Got a bit picture crazy tonight (Load Warning)

Thanks for the comments all:)

The Argentea is great. He is pretty owner responsive, although I wouldn't call him a glass banger. He doesn't really show too much aggression. At feeding time, he gets angry at the pike for eating the food, so he is more interested in chasing the pike than eating a lot of the time. Here he is 13 months ago when I got him:

What are the ones that sit on the bottom that look like gators or some reptile? I have seen these a lot since I have been on the forum and I really like them. How big do they get and what are their tank and eating requirements?

Those are Polypterus. Check out their sub-forum under Ancient Fish. You will find a lot of great info.

Nice looking fish and great pics. I see you have the same issues with the white sand, everything shows.

That is the unfortunate part in having light colored sand. I did take these pictures right after I fed them, so a lot of the stuff you see is broken up Massivore. That is why the water has a bunch of particles too.

Beautiful, love the jag

lol, you're right. Maybe this thread didn't deserve a load warning. I think dial up is extinct anyways.
