Got a DSLR!!!!!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I just sold my D40 kit and bought an XTi. D40 is a great beginner DSLR. Its really easy to produce good pictures with minimal post processing.

easy to use
but till now i have just learnt to use it as a point and shoot device get the subject in the frame and adjust whether you want a close up or a far shot then press half way on the shutter control to focus and when the cam beeps press the shutter control all the way and voila the pic is taken

I just got a DSLR sony a200 but still taking crappy pics. What's wrong with me? Do you need to stay far away from the tank then blow up pic in the computer? Or do i do the old way, which is to go up to the fish tank and zoom in as close as possible to take pics?

You need to know how a camera works to get great pix. As Neo stated, check out APF.
