Cute!!!!! Nice school of clown loaches too! :)

Giraffe Cats are one of my favorite species, a few years ago I raised a pair of them from 2" to 14" before I had to sell them after around 2 years as they got too big for my 130G tank. They do have good personalities, you will eventually have the cleanest gravel anywhere. One thing so interesting about the species is how different they can be as far as colors, patterns and even body shape depending on what river system they came from as they are widely distributed throughout many African countries and rivers within. Here's a pic of my pair when they were 11" long...http://www.monsterfishkeepers.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=520908&stc=1&d=1281828389

Those two kitties look more spray painted than my Bernard. As you say, very interesting how different they all are. I'm waiting for them to start breaking up the species into more defined subspecies if not completely different species...

Edit: You know, we should start a picture thread of all our different giraffe cats rather than hijack this one. :D

No worries, it's fine.

Mine is growing pretty steady but not super fast. I've been out of town and he looks bigger to me, I'll post new pics soon.

Looking forward to seeing them! :)
