You're in CT, right? In the Buckland mall there is a comedy club called the Funny Bone. They have some big name comedians come through there, and it is a restaurant, too. It is a great time. You can eat, have a laugh, then walk around the mall after (we all know how chicks love to do that ). I'm not sure if you have to be 18 or not, though.
