Steve- Do you keep yours together? I thought I seen a pic you posted with 2 in the same pond.

That was a gamble that worked out for me. They are now however no longer together. The smaller one was not handling the winter very well so I passed it onto a mate.

I do not really want to re-introduce them again in case things are different this time.

That being said I can buy a leichardti basically any day of the year. You unfortunately cannot. So I guess what i'm trying to say is prepare yourself for the worst because the chances of it not working are definitely higher than it actually working.

Even at a young age they will fight with each other. LFS will not keep juvies together whereas you will see them keeping juvie silvers together.

I did notice them being kept seperate. They do chase eachother around, but not much else. I will keep and eye on them. I will be getting a 55g growout tank ready just incase.:D

Thanks for the info.

Great deal and great looking fella. It's not common to find them in singapore and they comes in pretty little but the price tag is heavy.

Thanks Koji. Whenever you want to trade for an asian, you let me know...j/k

hahaha!! I can trade with you with one of my greenie.:D I got alittle too many at home.

Well, There went 280.00!!! I added a larger piece of driftwood to their side of the tank. I guess my larger leichardi didn't take to the new object in his home, so he decided to jump into what he thought was a larger tank ( the floor ).

The most screwed up part that I am most upset about is I could have saved him. While I was on the computer I could only see 2 of them. I thought the 3rd was hanging behind the wood.
Time passes-still 2, WTF. I take a look through the side of the tank.
:WHOA: NO THIRD LEI TO BE FOUND. SO I take a peek around the back of the tank.
AH $%^T!!! I pick him up, but its too late. He is all dried.

SUCKS!!!:(
