Very nice good price, is it a irwini or now onow as uron????, or niger?
Bruce is refering to the description change on irwini. They are now M. uranoscopus.

Nice pick up...I have two myself.

I've found that they are indeed secretive cats. I keep driftwood piles in there for them to pile into. They are very peaceful cats and can be kept with pretty much anything as long as it won't fit in their mouth...so a pleco would be fine.

I definitley agree with using heater guards for these fish. They will wedge theselves behind ANYTHING...regardless if it is burning them.:screwy:

As far as foods, I feed them krill, shrimp, haddock/polluck fillets, any sort of sinking pellet, and they LOVE snails...if you want to see some activity from these guys, throw a hand full of snails in there.

As far as the price...that's a deal and a half. :D I've never seen them in the Boston area for less than $50.

srry took so long photos

Hey are those Geo. suranamensis in with the Megaldoras? I think they are one of the nicest looking of the Geo. complex. You don't see them too often around here, I have four but they were hard to find!

no it is an Acarichthys heckelii harder to fined then a suranamensis
but let me know if you need more suranamensis

Great cats everyone!!!

Here are my babies (Well, one head and one butt :D). The shy guy is the bigger of the two and a little nicer looking so I'll try to get a better pic of him.

I've been looking for one for years (OK, not all that hard, but I'd buy one in a second if I ran across it!).
