just got this, not much color in him but his size just wow me, do you think he will still color up? thanks guys he is about a foot long and has a thick body

what size tank is he in, he looks a little cramped. My two guesses would be fenestratus or bifasciatus based on the body shape and dark marking near the tail fin. Hard to tell though without much coloration. I'm sure many others on here would be more of a help.

Looks like Synspilum. If you can get brighter pix... Hes stressed but he will calm down!
 
quite possibly some type of synspilum hybrid...it might color up some because right now after being moved it is going to be stressed somewhat. I don't think it'll color up a whole lot though...
