Yeah, I know it's not a monster. But for a $7 tank, I think that is pretty good!
Any ways, What does MFK Think I should use for a filter. I would like it to be a hang on the back filter(I've only used those). I would like it to have a good turn over rate, and not be that expensive(Being a 13yr, not a very good pay).
What do you guys think I should use for a heater? A 100watt?
Now for the big question. It seems that the sealent on the inside of the tank isn't that big, only about 1/4in. Do you think I should re-seal it?:WHOA:
What do you think I should put in it. I would eventually like to make it planted. something that could live it there it's whole life...

Right now I'm checking to see if it leaks. got is at value village!

I would fill it up and leak test it first. But resealing never hurts.

Simple Aqua Clear HOB filters work well. Turnover would depend on your stocking.

Use somewhere between a 50-100W heater, depending on the temperature of the room you are putting it in.

wouldnt you only need like a 50w AT MOST i mean its only 20g, though if your house is kept really cold then more is better but arent most 100w heaters longer then that tank is tall? (well at least they are longer than mine but my 20g is a long one so i dont know how tall the reg ones are) but yeah pretty much any filter will work, i like whispers especially if the tank is going to be in your room, they are super quiet and get the job done

Thanks for the replys. I think that I will go for a 100watt heater as my room is on the cooler side.
I'll look into the Simple Aqua Clear HOB filters.
Thanks for your help!

Just went down to check to see it if leaked over night. I didn't!!!!

Rule of thumb for general questions is about 3wpg. It never hurts to go a bit bigger.
