Personally I have never had one, but I know you have to be very careful with them. Try feeding it brine shrimp. You can also try crushing up hikari food sticks and giving it little pices.

Dont starve one that small and yes u have to take really really go care of one that small.
He will need ALOT bigger tank

They are fragile when young, so I would say yes, it is too early to starve them.
I hope a 55 is just your growout tank?
Also, what type of arowana?

Does this guy still have an eggsack? At this size current from most any filter will really throw this guy around, do what you can to reduce surface currents and I would also keep without most tankmates. Actually at this size even a smaller tank would be an advantage. Start feeding freeze dryed blood worms, a high quality flake food and very small crickets(once a week) after that yoke sack is mostly gone.

The 55 is just a growout tank he has 125 gallon waiting for him.The arowana is a silver arowana. Also what should I feed the guy? I have frozen blood worms, frozen beef heart, sinking cichlid pellets, flakes, freeze dried bloodworms, and really small floating ciclid pellets..which out of those shold i feed him?

he doesn't have the yolk sack and i just put him in the 55 gallon all by himself..and i don't want to switch him to a smaller tank now cause it'll be more stress on him..
