is the anal fin round or pointed?
 
yes it is from my area and the anal fin looks pointed so according to stuff iv read that means its a mutton snapper, they have the same black dot but the markings are a little different and the markings of mine look just like a lane snapper but i guess it could be a mutton snapper.

according to google this is a lane snapper and that is exactly what mine looks like im sorry i cant get one of my own pics yet will as soon as i can
