Mine started out that small once. lol. Then they got BIGGER!!! My biggest one (about 24") is named elvis cause he curls his lip up when I come to the tank. lol. They were on pellets when they were babies but now on talapia and shrimp, and any smaller fish they find. lol. I used to have a 8" small mouth bass in there, but he vanished.

Love it, but I was unaware of the the movement required part. Ex) I refuse to put large swallowable stones in with my RTCxTSN as he ate gravel when he was smaller and puked. Don't need my 27" catfish yacking and fouling my water!

Btw my TSN is just around the 2 years old mark and 30"+, and is the most guilty fish I own. She's a total hunter. She took down (though couldn't swallow) a thick 19" ID shark a few months and inches back. Good luck with your little new little guy! That Oscar will be on the dinner menu before you know it!
