I can't believe my luck. I just moved from AL to FL, and found a fish-only store close to where I live. They had a larger selection of both FW and SW fish than I've ever seen in person. (The perks of being in the same state as the ornamental fish industry!!)
Anyways, they had a great selection of BPs and as I was looking, the manager said if I ever wanted something they didn't have, he could handpick it at one of the suppliers. I requested orange and white BPs (thinking in my mind, "Yeah, right! I haven't been able to find them yet...") He took my name and number. A few days later, I got the call! They'd picked out three of them to choose from!
So there were three available, and I picked by far the best looking one. He/she is about 3.5" TL and a feisty little sucker. All I have right now is a 40g breeder tank with my show male calico con and some barbs. I put the bag in the tank but I can already tell I'll be searching for another tank this afternoon, haha. They're trying to kill each other through the bag. I really enjoy my cichlids but I like for them to keep intact fins (and the trailers on my con's tail are to die for), so I don't want anyone hurt. I was able to snap some mediocre pics anyways...
They look friendly but they're so not!
