Got an orange and white parrot! (after looking for 2 years)

Usually yes, including parrots that are dyed different colors. But ones with this pattern are very rare and the pattern is natural (i.e. not tattooed or dyed). They keep the orange/white pattern as they age.

That is a very rare parrot you have. I hope they start to get along though.

Well she ended up going into her own 29g. Super shy, so I added some barbs, which she likes to ambush and flare at. I know she'll outgrow the 29g in a few months so I'm keeping an eye out for a used 55g.

The fish store has several nice looking KKP. They're housed with the BP and I think are the same price, but clearly different morphs. If she grows a bit and is switched to the 55g, I'll probably get her a buddy.

Im glad you got her out of there if she was getting picked on. :)

She never even went in the tank. They were fighting through the bag and I didn't want either fish hurt, so she temporarily went into a 5g bucket and I set up another tank that same day. :)

I'm pretty sure the parrot's a male. I saw the vent today and based on all of the parrots I've had in the past, I'm thinking male.

And I think he's going to develop an amazing personality with time! I did a partial water change today and he actually swam right up to my hand, getting territorial. For a 3" parrot, that really impresses me.
