ahhahhhhaahaha my arowana bit me the day i got him when i was fixing his tank lind........i ended up knocking the whole OHF into the water along with all the crap xD
yeah probably the surprise of the "attack" is what made it feel like it hurt but my ornate swims by my hand and i play with her with my hand and she doesnt bite?
Never been bit by a bichir, but plenty of cichlids. Don't let the cute fool you, I'm guessing they love the taste of human.
Yup I had my Endli come up to my hand and nipped me on the side of my palm. It happened while I was fixing my aeration lining during a waterchange. It didn't hurt but it scared the crap out of me and I jumped as I had 1/4 of my upper body in the tank...
