Just got re-certified in First Aid today. Now they're saying not to rinse burns or wounds with alcohol, hydrogen peroxide or iodine until 24-48 hours after the injury. Only clean water and soap should be used initially. They determined that these items kill off too many cells to be considered helpful.
Back on topic...good video! Not saying you should have done it, but, you did do it in a decent fashion.
Question...it looks like the wound was more of a pressing of his teeth into your skin versus an actual bite. The incisions form a nearly perfect circle with damage equal around the perimeter. Did he actually bite? As in attempting to close his jaws or pull back? I am surprised that considering how shallow the incisions are that you didn't actually lose flesh if he tried to close his jaws.
