Hey, I like the the thick stripes on that congi and that you're volta's markings are pretty dark. Only a few of my volta's markings are dark and have good contrast, the rest are on the lighter (pale) side.

FREE!!!! They are experimental and not for sale to the public.

I want one really bad, how do you induce breeding in a sen and endli?
Without using hormones?

I'm picky when it comes to Voltas as most Volta endli I seen in shipment even kept in red substrates for a long time just won't stabalize. This one however went very dark and I too love the stripes.

I don't breed them. My buddy does. I only had success breeding senegal no other bichirs so far. If you don't wanna use hormones. You can gently squeeze the eggs from the female and the semen from the male and mix them both in a bowl. Then release them in the tank.

That's why I find myself always buying multiple specimens of a species/variant to ensure that I get the particular look that I want because not all specimens are made alike.

Yep do agree but the downside is some do look all the same and with my current situation right now. Pretty much its all getting expensive now that I need to budget my money. Before I just spend whatever cost I pleased.
