I got this early in the week. I fuond them for a price I couldn't pass up and bught enought to refill 6 FX5s. so I can do my threee twice with all this foam. I am currntly trying to work something out to buy at least this many more. but I'm waiting for the guy to get back with me. and for those of you who are going to ask how much I paid it was a little more then $100 shipped. BEST price I have ever seen.

thats a good deal... ever consider running your used ones through the washing machine with a small amount of bleach?? i do this for all my pads bleach breaks some pads down those i just run with hot water either way makes them like new

Na never tried that I didn't knwo these were washable at all. I would try it but idk if it's something I would do often. these things don't get dirty fast enough. and I'm soon to be running all three on one 125 so it's going to take a long time before they need replaced.

all can be washed... just some don like the bleach... just a idea for the back of your mind... less money you spend on supplies more there is for fish :)

good looking out. I'll give it a shot. I'm going to change pads either tonight or tomorrow then I'll try to washout the old ones and let them dry and use them next tie and see how it works. thanks Nic

no problem... i just add a small bit of bleach just for odor mainly... this way when i pumps out the water you dont get that nasty smell... also washer on lowest water setting.. you want those things to get moving hard and it dont work when full... try small amount of bleach see how they do if it breaks them down(and ive never had that problem with other fluval pads) then just use hot water... good luck :)
