That's exactly what I was going to say. LOL Unfortunately there are a lot of idiots out there who either don't care or don't realize how bad it is to release aquarium fish into natural bodies of water.
Aye, fishies that have been released into the wild, or have potential of being released into the wild are restricted in some states because of the ecological damage they could do. Not fun if you ask me, i can see where they need to enforce it now, but it really sucks. Wish there was a way around it so that the responsible fish keepers could continue to keep the fish they love...
yep its bc people get fish and put them in there lakes and ****, and then the fish that we love to fish for are in trouble. i hate all the laws to but its good they have them, just get the papers to own it. thats what im gonna do. i know its a pain in the ass but it should be.
u never know sometime if u know someone that deals with the permits ull be good, just show u are a good fish keeper. the laws suck i know but it all bc of dumb as s people, and we all know the world is full of them
lol, i was surprised to find that there are actually goldfish species that thrive in U.S. waters besides the usual carp
i say that the government should be doing something to monitor the irresponsible pet owners, the ones that get a fish because its "cute"
not to mention that the pythons in the everglades is a lil more important than a pet owner who can house a snakehead owning one
i dont even see the appeal in a snakehead, i like to have more than 1 fish to a tank, if ya want a power tank, try a sculpin (im a major advocate) or some other fish that is native to your area, you may be surprised what kind of quirky behaviors they can have

very true and then sometime to keep native fish that u catch, so states make u have paper work so u can take it and put it in ur lake or pond or tank or what ever. there is so many laws. but ur way right i wish there was a better way to find these dumb animal keepers that mess up all the fun for all of us
